7 killed in blast near US-led coalition patrol in Syria
At least seven people were killedin an explosion near a patrol of the US-led coalition in the northern town of Manbij in Syria, reports said. News agency AFP, quoting a Syrian war monitoring group, confirmed the death toll, while AP report said that casualties could include troops of the US-led coalition
The Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and the Kurdish-led Manbij Military Council, which runs the town, say the blast occurred near a restaurant.
The Observatory says the explosion was likely set off by a suicide bomber. No further details were immediately available.
The attack comes as the US has begun the process of withdrawing from Syria.
