A Taliban commander Mullah Abdul Rahman was killed and four others were injured in an airstrike targeted by government in Batikot district of the eastern Nangarhar province, the police said on Sunday.
The air raids on Taliban hideouts in Batikot district of the eastern Nangarhar province took place on Saturday night.
Taliban commander Mullah Abdul Rahman was killed in the attack and four of his armed men sustained critical injuries, Xinhua news agency reported.
A large amount of arms and ammunition of the terrorists were destroyed in the airstrike, the official said.
However, Taliban terrorists were yet to comment about the airstrike.
