A Russian aircraft Aeroflot set out toward Moscow was emptied at Switzerland's Geneva airplane terminal after a bomb panic.
A man was arrested after saying that there was the bomb on the board, said Geneva prosecutor’s office in a statement.
Geneva prosecutors said about 1 p.m. a man presented himself at an airline counter at Geneva Airport and indicated that a bomb was aboard an Aeroflot jet ready to take off for Moscow.
The aircraft was called back and the passengers were disembarked. Nobody was hurt.
The statement said police explosives experts are examining the airplane to see whether explosives are present.
The man who made the threat was arrested by police. An investigation has been launched.
