Mumbai, Aug 24: Army Chief General V K Singh today made it clear that the force has “zero tolerance” policy towards corruption in any form.
“We want to clean up the system and we are not going to tolerate corruption in any form that concerns the army,” Singh said at an interactive meeting on ‘Indigenisation of Army supplies' organised by the All India Association of Industries here.
“If anyone finds something (fishy) happening, we assure that we will take action, however high and mighty the person is,” he said.
On the Adarsh scam, the army chief said the case was with the CBI and “we have to wait for the court inquiry to get completed”. PTI
