Meerut: Railway ministry is working fast on the scheme of laying of second track on Delhi-Saharanpur sector, Minister of State for Railway Manoj Sinha said here yesterday.
Sinha, who was here to attend a function, asserted that the chances made in ticketing system was right as some people were benefiting from the earlier system. He said common people can now avail of the benefits of chances made in the train ticketing system.
While replying to a question on outcome of Bihar polls and its effect on Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections in 2017, he said, it would have no effect on UP polls.
Asked about the security arrangements in the trains and platforms in the wake of Paris terror attack, the Minister said his ministry was serious about the safety of the passengers and all necessary arrangements were being made in this regard.
