Noida, Mar 31: A 31-year-old woman was killed yesterday after a tourist bus hit the motorcycle she was travelling on near Mahamaya flyover in the district, police said.
The pillion rider woman, identified as Vandana Goswami a resident of Vandana enclave in Khoda colony, died on the spot while the man driving the bike, identified as Pankaj Paswan, suffered minor injuries, they said.
The tourist bus coming from Delhi was en route Varindavan and going toward Expressway when the bus's back hit the motorcyclist.
Police has arrested the bus driver Bhola Nath and seized the bus.
The deceased used to work in Janak Puri area of the capital and was going to her aunt's house in Badarpur along with her friend Pankaj, they said.
