A resident of Bihar's Siwan, Rajendra Pandey died of cancer in Delhi's AIIMS.
His widow Sushila Devi with her two sons Arvind and Sanjay, took the body in an ambulance and were on the way to their native place in Bihar, when it collided with a truck that braked suddenly near Etawa on Saturday.
The vehicle was badly mangled killing Sushila Devi and her two sons. The vehicle driver and a relative of the Pandeys were admitted to the PGI in Saifai here.
The truck driver absconded soon after the mishap.
