The Nashik region of Maharashtra state has the maximum number of vineyards located in the country.



The Sula vineyard, one of the first vineyards to be set up here is very popular for wine tourism.

Established in 1997, the Sula Vineyards has developed into a world class winery and vineyard, offerings it's a guests a unique experience into the world of wines.

The winery is open to visitors and offers vineyard tour, including a peek into the wine making process, wine tastings, courses, and special events.  There is also a bungalow in the vineyard.
