New Delhi: Inmates from a correctional home from West Bengal Sunday staged a dance drama as part of the West Bengal day celebration at the 33rd India International Trade Fair (IITF) here.
"The inmates staged 'Mokshagati', a dance drama adapted from the life of emperor Ashoka under the direction of noted social worker Alokananda Roy," said an official of West Bengal in-charge of IITF.
The troupe of Baul singers (wandering minstrels) also staged a live performance to popularise the folk tradition of Bengal.
