Kalpana owns the film production company House of Pandits. In 2008, She hosted the technical awards ceremony of Zee Cine Awards in London.
In 2012, Pandit served on the jury of Mrs. America Pageant 2012, at Tucson, Arizona. She has made red carpet appearances at Hollywood Premiere nights for The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Quantum of Solace.
She worked in films like Moksha, Pitaah, Pran Jaye Par Shaan Na Jaye, Om, Pyaar Kiya Nahin Jaata, Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav, Love Khichdi, Janleva 555, but most of these films went dud at the box office.
