New Delhi, April 9: The national capital woke up to a warm morning Tuesday with minimum temperature recorded at 21.7 degrees Celsius, two notches above average.
The Met department has forecast lighting towards the evening. Humidity was recorded at 46 percent at 8.30 am.
The maximum temperature is likely to touch 38 degrees Celsius, the Met Office said.
"The sky will become partly cloudy later in the day and lightening is expected towards the evening," said an official of the India Meteorological Department.
Monday's maximum temperature was recorded at 37.5 degrees Celsius, three notches above average, while minimum temperature settled at 20 degrees Celsius which was normal for this time of the season.
