Bhubaneswar: Very heavy rainfall is likely to lash parts of Odisha due to a low pressure that may turn the sea condition rough.
The low pressure area yesterday over Bay of Bengal off south Odisha and north Andhra Pradesh today lies over Jharkhand and adjoining areas of Gangetic West Bengal and Bihar, the meteorological centre in Bhubaneswar said.
Under its impact, rain and thundershower would occur at most places over north Odisha and many places over south Odisha, it said.
Heavy to very heavy rainfall would occur at one or two places over north Odisha and heavy rainfall at one or two places over south Odisha during next 24 hours.
