Pithoragarh, Uttarakhand, May 9: In a spine-chilling incident, Ankit Bhardwah, a 20-year-old youth working with a private telecom company, on Wednesday, hanged himself from a ceiling fan inside a rented room, and recorded his suicide on a laptop.
S K Singh, SP, Pithoragarh, said, the cause behind the suicide appears to be failed love.
Bhardwaj hailed from Judya Gaon of Dhoonda tehsil in Uttarkashi. He has also left behind a suicide note. While hanging himself from the ceiling fan, he switched on the webcame of his laptop, and ended his life.
Police have sent the body for post mortem, and have seized the laptop.
Ankit's father works in the Indo Tibetan Border Police.
