Using Lashkar training, Kasab tried to hold his breath for 10 minutes

Mumbai, Nov 25: Pakistani terrorist Ajmal Amir Kasab, the lone surviving gunman  of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack, used his Lashkar training to hold his breath for nearly 10 minutes, even when he was hanged at

“Kasab could hold his breath underwater or in case of smoke for almost 10 to 15 minutes which proves that the terrorist was too alert in mind even minute before he was going to be hanged till death,” said a source.



 
The  hangman , an elderly constable  who is about to retire in March next year pulled the lever at 7.30am and Kasab died at 7.36am on Wednesday.
 
As per jail sources, “Normally it takes about two minutes for a person to die after he is hanged. But in Kasab's case he took six to seven minutes because he had held back sufficient oxygen in his lungs to control his breath for a least of 6 minutes.
