Ghaziabad, Jan 11: As part of the Election Commission's drive to put a check on money power in elections, the Ghaziabad police in Pilkhuwa today stopped an Axis bank cash van and seized Rs 10 crore cash.
The cash was being transported to the bank's branch in Moradabad.
Police said, there were no papers with the security officials accompanying the cash.
Four persons of Security India Services Ltd were detained for questioning, and the money handed over to Income Tax department for further investigation.
