Allahabad: Several students were injured when Uttar Pradesh police lathicharged them while they were staging a protest demanding the removal of UP Public Service Commission (UPPSC) chairman Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav.
The students have been alleging irregularities in UPPSC examinations during the last three years and demanding a probe into the conduct if examinations.
The students alleged UPPSC chairman had been misusing his powers and the results of the examinations have been manipulated.
