UP gold treasure hunt: ASI excavation enters crucial phase

Geological Survey of India (GSI) had pointed out at the presence of non-magnetic metal at a depth between 5 metres and 20 metres, and today's excavation is therefore considered crucial.



No excavation was done on Wednesday by ASI because of leave.  ASI has created four blocks of five square metres each for excavation.
