Indore, May 29: The house of Union Minister of Tribal Affairs and President of M P Congress Kantilal Bhuria, located at Scheme No 78, was burgled in the wee hours of today, the police said.
According to police, two LCD TVs, cash and other domestic gadgets have been stolen, however, the estimate of the loss is yet to be ascertained.
The guard, who was on duty at the time, later went missing. Family members of the minister were asleep in other rooms when the incident occurred, the police said.
“Burglars probably cut a grill of a window and entered the house late last night, and fled with the booty”, they said.
Minister's son and a Congress leader Vikrant Bhuria lodged an FIR with the Lasudia police station here.
Police managed to catch the missing guard and are now interrogating him. PTI
