New Delhi: Four labourers were killed when parts of an under-construction building collapsed in Hari Nagar area of West Delhi late on Friday evening.
According to police, the deceased workers were working at the time untoward incident took place at around 8 pm.
The workers were digging a basement at the site, police said.
As soon as concerned authorities learnt about the incident, a team from South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) rushed to the spot to find out whether or not the construction was illegal.
Locals alleged that a similar incident had happened a few days back at the same site but the workers had managed to escape from the spot.
Police has arrested the owner of the building along with the contractor.
