Nashik, Nov 14: Lashing out at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh over his statement about finding out a solution over the Kingfisher Airlines crisis, Shiv Sena executive president Udhhav Thackeray asked why Singh was not able to take steps to solve common man's problems.

While returning from Maldives, the Prime Minister had said that he would talk to the Union Civil Aviation Minister and find out what could be done about Kingfisher crisis.

Thackeray was here to launch various development works by Shiv Sena corporators ahead of the Nashik Municipal Corporation (NMC) elections that are just a few months away.

On Union Minister and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh's remarks that Shiv Sena could not even run a sugar factory, Thackeray said that his party (Shiv Sena) was not only capable of running sugar factories, but also the government in an able manner.

Thackeray also dismissed the media reports that BJP and Shiv Sena would contest the upcoming polls for the Nashik civic body. “Shiv Sena will definitely make alliance with BJP and RPI (Athawale faction) in NMC polls,” he said.

He asked those Shiv Sena workers, who are “unhappy” with the alliance, to leave the party.
