Kajalgaon (Assam), May 5: Two powerful Improvised Explosive Devises (IEDs) were recovered from an abandoned house at Bhetagaon village in Chirang district, police said today.
The IEDs were recovered from the house located in a forest area by a joint police and CRPF team late last night.
The explosives were defused in a jungle area this afternoon by a bomb disposal squad of the Army, police said.
Further investigations are on, they added.
