New Delhi, Nov 30: Sticking to its stand against allowing FDI in retail, UPA constituent Trinamool Congress today said the BJP and the Congress should find a common ground to resolve the logjam over the issue.

“We have not changed our stand. We have a very firm stand on the issue (that) we do not want FDI in retail,” TMC Parliamentary Party leader Sudeep Bandopadhaya told reporters outside Parliament House.

Asked if there was any common ground to resolve the issue, he said, “There are many parties and we are a small party. Both the two big parties should arrive at a common ground to resolve the issue. Congress and BJP should sit together and find out a common ground. When that situation will come, we will give our views. But as of now our stand is ‘no FDI in retail'.”

On whether TMC would pull out from the government on the FDI issue, he said, “It is immaterial at this stage. Even House is not functioning.”
