New Delhi: Medical reports compiled by JJ Hospital have stated that Indrani Mukerjea, prime accused in Sheena Bora murder case, had taken cocaine the day her health deteriorated.

Times of India reported that traces of cocaine, opiates and amphetamines were found in the urine sample of Indrani. The nine-page discharge summary mentions that traces of amphetamines, benzodiazepines, cocaine, methadone, opiates, phencyclidine and THC (tetra hydro cannabin) were found in the toxin screening test, the report said.

On October 2, Indrani was admitted to JJ Hospital after her health deteriorated suddenly in Byculla women's jail.

Doctors treating her had initially said that Indrani had taken overdose of medicines. But the INX Media co-founder denied doctors claim and also that she was addicted to drugs.

After Indrani's hospitalisation, conflicting reports had emerged on suspected drug overdose in prison. While one report showed she had overdose on anti-depressant pills, the other found no such thing.

Indrani was arrested on August 25 by Khar Police for the April 2012 murder of Sheena, her daughter from an earlier marriage. Besides Indrani, her former husband Sanjeev Khanna and driver Shyam Rai are the two other accused in the sensational murder case.

Meanwhile, state Medical Education Minister Vinod Tawde yesterday ordered a high-level probe into the entire episode.

Sheena Bora case is presently being probed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
