President refuses to clear 10 state bills since Modi govt took over
President Pranab Mukherjee has refused assent to 10 pending state bills, most of them from non-BJP ruled states, since the NDA government came to power at the Centre.

SC rejects plea against NGT's order to ban 15-yr-old vehicles
The Supreme Court today rejected a plea against an order of the National Green Tribunal banning all vehicles which are more than 15 years old from plying on Delhi roads.
“Let us assist them (NGT) and not discourage them,” a bench of Chief Justice H L Dattu and Justice Arun Mishra said while dismissing a plea filed by a lawyer seeking setting aside of the decision of the green panel.

Joint Pakistan-China think tank ‘RANDI' launched
The Islamabad office of Pakistan China Institute has announced a new Joint Pakistan-China Think Tank dedicated to research and development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.
According to a statement, the newly-formed think tank ‘Research and Development International (RANDI)' will have two co-chairpersons -- Madame Zhao Baige, vice chairperson of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the National People's Congress, and Senator Mushahid Hussain.
