Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi
The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC) is an Indian media school funded and promoted by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. It is one of India's premier institutes for training, teaching and research in mass communication.
It was set up by the Government of India in 1965.
The institute teaches a variety of disciplines including print journalism, photo journalism, radio journalism, television journalism, development communication, communication research, advertising and public relations.
It offers postgraduate programmes in print journalism, electronic journalism and advertising and public relations.
The institute also has programmes in Hindi and Oriya language.
