Jaipur, Mar 1 : Noted wildlife conservationist Fateh Singh Rathore, called the 'Tiger Man' by his admirers, died today in Rajasthan's Sawaimadhopur district.
He was 73.
Singh, hailed as one of the pioneers of India's tiger conservation story, was a former project director at Ranthambore and was conferred a Lifetime Achievement Award
by the Worldwide Fund for Nature (WWF) last month.
Singh had been ailing for some time and breathed last today, his aides said. PTI
