New Delhi: Tibetan emigres on Wednesday staged a protest in Delhi against Chinese President Xi Jingping's visit to India.
The protesters, carrying Tibetan flags, staged demonstartions outside the Chinese embassy in New Delhi's Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave.
"We demand our freedom, and that is what we are protesting for," said one of the demonstrators.
Xi Jinping, who is on a three-day visit to India, will arrive in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, later in the afternoon. He will be received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
