Ahmedabad, Jul 7 : There has been three acid attacks within a span of 15 days in this city. On July 3, two bikers threw acid on a watchman near Parth bungalow. In this incident, the security guard lost both his eyes.
Prior to that, on June 23 in Rakhial, acid was thrown at a senior citizen Rafiq Khan and he succumbed to injuries.
The third incident was reported on Wednesday night, a car was damaged in an acid attack in Bapunagar.
Surprisingly, the acid attacks in all three instances took place on a similar pattern. Police is still trying to figure out the reasons behind the acid attacks.
