Pubjab govt. gives status report in high court. Govt. cites doctors report that Ashhutosh is clinicaly dead.. Court says petetion is not maintanable under habeus corpus. Govt. also says he is not in illigal detention.

Ashutosh, said to be more than 70 years old, was not keeping well for the past few months, according to sources privy to the highly-secretive sect which was founded by him in 1983.
