The TDP chief found fault with the previous UPA government over the manner in which the state bifurcation process was carried out.
“Equal justice was not done to both states. They took population as the basis for distribution of assets, liabilities and government staff but when it came to power, they went by the level of consumption,” he pointed out.
The TDP would fight for building a modern and social Telangana and exert pressure on the state government to implement all promises it made to people, Naidu said.
“Though statehood was granted, the Congress has done injustice to Telangana as well. Farmers in Telangana will have to face power and water crisis in future. These have to be overcome,” he said.
