Jaipur: Swine flu has claimed two more lives in Rajasthan, taking the toll due to the HIN1 virus to 428 in the state since January this year, an official said today. One person each died of swine flu in Churu and Alwar districts yesterday, an official of the State Medical Health Directorate said here.
Out of 6,654 people diagnosed with the virus in the state, 428 people have died, he said. Barring Dholpur and Sirohi, swine flu deaths have occurred in all of the remaining 31 districts, the official said.
Jaipur has recorded the maximum number of deaths with the toll rising to 85 followed by Ajmer 46, Jodhpur 33, Nagaur 31, Barmer 23, Kota 20, Udaipur 15, Chittorgarh 14, Bhilwara and Tonk 13 each, Sikar and Pali 12 each, Jhunjhunu 11, Churu 10, Bikaner 8, Dausa and Bharatpur 7 each, Rajsamand, Alwar and Banswara 6 each.
