New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will pay a three day visit to Hanoi, capital of Vietnam, from tomorrow.
During the visit, Swaraj will hold talks with her counterpart and other senior leaders of the country.
External Affairs Ministry spokesman Syed Akbaruddin informed that Swaraj will inaugurate third round table India ASEAN think tanks with her Vietnamese counterpart besides holding a meeting of heads of Indian Mission in South East Asia and East Asia.
He said the visit is expected to pave the way for high level exchange of visits between the two countries.
India has robust economic relations with Vietnam with bilateral trade of 8 billion dollars of which Indian exports to Vietnam are about 5.4 billion dollars.
The visit will help strengthen country's ties in the areas of textiles, pharmaceutical and agricultural products.
