New Delhi: The Supreme Court today refused to entertain a PIL accusing Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi of filing incomplete details by leaving blank the column meant for specifying marital status in the 2012 assembly polls.

A bench comprising Chief Justice P Sathasivam and Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that such issues are to be dealt by Chief Election Officer and it did not intent to go into it.

The PIL filed by Sunil Sarawgi alleged that Modi had filed incomplete declaration along with his nomination papers in the 2012 assembly elections in the state.

He had sought quashing of the election officer's decision not to reject the nomination paper of the Gujarat Chief Minister.
