New Delhi: Sunanda Pushkar's death is still a mystery and Delhi Police is making every possible effort to find the exact cause of death as soon as possible.

On Wednesday the case took another turn after a forensic report  revealed that a deep bite mark was found on Sunanda's hand.

The reports has revealed that Sunanda had three major injury on wrist, chin and neck, and more than a dozen brazen scuffle marks on the upper part of her body.

Senior doctors at AIIMS have also mentioned that injury marks on body of Sunanda, reflect that she had physical confrontation with somebody, a few hours before her death.

These scuffle marks may impact the investigation as the Delhi Police has been directed by the sub-divisional magistrate to probe whether it was a suicide or a murder.

Delhi police would now be re-examining the CCTV footage of the hotel, mobile phones of Sunanda and call detail records of everybody involved in the case. Police would also be scanning the laptop Sunanda and Tharoor to get more details of the conversations.

However the autopsy report of Sunanda has attributed her death to poisoning by drug overdose, while ruling out the ‘scuffle marks' as minor injuries.

Now Police is waiting for Sunanda's viscera report, which might have clues to the mystery.

Meanwhile NCP leader DP Tripathi has said that Union Minister Shashi Tharoor must quit till the investigation is over but the Congress stood by its leader and has stated that there was no question of Tharoor's resignation.
