New Delhi: Sunanda Pushkar's son Shiv Menon today joined the Delhi Police's Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into latter's mysterious death.
Shiv, who stays in Dubai, had earlier failed to turn up for questioning. He had then sought some time to appear before the SIT.
Today, he appeared before the SIT to join the ongoing probe.
Shiv had earlier said that he does not think that his mother could have committed suicide.
He had also said that he doesn't think that Shashi Tharoor could not have harmed his mother.
Shiv is Pushkar's son from her previous marriage.
A Delhi Police team is probing the murder and has questioned at least 15 people in connection with the case. Among them are her husband, Shashi Tharoor, his official staff members and close friends.
52-year-old Sunanda was found dead in her suite at a five-star hotel in Delhi on January 17, 2014, night. The incident took place a day after she was involved in a spat with Pakistani journalist Mehr Tarar on micro-blogging website twitter over the latter's alleged affair with Tharoor.
