New Delhi: In order to solve the high-profile Sunanda Pushkar murder case, her son Shiv Menon will join Delhi Police probe today. He is likely to record his statement at around 10: 30 AM in Vasant Vihar (SIT office).
Menon, who is Sunanda's son from her previous marriage, lives abroad and was supposed to join the probe after several others were investigated in connection with the case including Pushkar's husband and Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, and former Samajwadi Party leader Amar Singh.
Now, officials will try to find out from Menon if he was told anything by Pushkar before her death.
Before Menon, Samajwadi Party leader and a close friend to Sunanda, Amar Singh was questioned on Wednesday for around two hours after which he told media that Pushkar was depressed due to the IPL debacle which caused the removal of Kerala franchise in which she had considerable sweat equity.
He also told that she had broken down and wanted to share information regarding the IPL controversy with him.
Sunanda Pushkar was found dead under mysterious circumstances in a luxury hotel last year on January 17 and a murder case was registered by police against unknown people on January 1, this year.
