Srinagar, Mar 27: The Jammu and Kashmir tourism department and Adventure Club organised Spring Snow festival in Sonmarg from Tuesday to attract tourists from across the world who are enjoying snowfall here.
Several games like Alpine Skiing, Cross country skiing, Ski touring, Sledging, Snow Boarding, Snow Cycling, Snow Baseball and Snow Kayaking have been organised with local residents and tourists taking part with gusto.
Located, 96 km from Srinagar, Sonmarg is still covered with snow. Tourists have also come in large numbers to Pahalgam and Gulmarg.
Sonmarg witnesses snowfall at least six months in a year.
