Mumbai: Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan today asked officials to speed up work on development projects like completion of water supply and deemed conveyance.
Addressing a meeting of Mumbai MPs here, Chavan said all efforts must be made to provide good facilities to people of the country's financial capital.
Work on providing tap water connection to slum-dwellers should be undertaken on a priority basis, Chavan said.
The process of increasing the number of floors of the JJ Hospital here should be expedited, the chief minister said.
