Gorakhpur, UP, Mar 2: In a tragic incident, six people of a family, including three children and two women died and six others injured in a road accident on Thursday near Badarahiya in Chauri-Chaura Police Station Area of Gorakhpur.
The family was riding a tempo and was going to attend a marriage ceremony when a speeding mini-truck rammed the tempo near Badarahiya intersection.
All six of the family died on the spot whereas six other, who were sitting inside the tempo with them, were critically injured.
Injured people were rushed to the district hospital in Gorakhpur where they are still fighting for life.
Mini-truck driver fled immediately from the spot and is still absconding as police is on a hunt to nab him.
