New Delhi: At least six people were injured in a clash between two groups belonging to different communities over an alleged eveteasing incident in Vehelna village in Muzaffarnagar.
The two sides indulged in stone pelting and attacked each other with sticks yesterday after a quarrel erupted over a girl being allegedly harassed by youths, police said on Mondayy.
Six people have been admitted to hospital.
A case has been registered in this connection, they said.
Security has been tightened in the area after the incident and extra policemen have been deployed as a precautionary measure.
