According to attorney Gurpatwant Singh Pannun, legal advisor to SFJ, “since Sonia Gandhi's claim of absence from the United States at the time when the rights group served the Congress President is critical and pivotal to maintain this action, a reward of $20k is offered to unveil the mystery surrounding Gandhi's presence in the United States during September 2013”.
Referring to the varying positions taken by Sonia Gandhi on the issue service of summons, attorney Pannun said plaintiffs had requested the US Federal Court to ask the Congress President to depose regarding her presence in the United States in September 2013.
