In a viral video that surfaced on the internet, the shooters who murdered famous singer Sidhu Moose Wala were seen celebrating in a car, waving guns. The video was found on the phone of one of the shooters.
There are five men in the car, as it appears to be, and all are seen waving their pistols.
It was revealed earlier that the youngest involved in the killing of the singer-turned-Congress leader was only 18 years old. He had fired six shots from closest range, police said. He is too, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi's gang.
Moosewala was shot dead on May 29 by unidentified assailants in Punjab's Mansa district, a day after the state government curtailed his security cover. His cousin and a friend, who was travelling in a jeep with him, were also injured in the attack.
Who claimed responsibility for Sidhu Moose Wala's murder
According to police, the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the murder of Moosewala. A Canada-based Goldy Brar, member of the Bishnoi gang, had taken the responsibility of the murder of the Punjabi singer. Moosewala's murder was in retaliation of the killing of youth Akali leader Vicky Middukhera last year, police said, adding that the name of Moosewala's manager Shaganpreet had figured in the murder of Middukhera.
