New Delhi: New layers of the Sheena Bora murder case is being peeled off with every passing moment with a new revelation that there was a love angle in the murder mystery.

It has now emerged that Sheena, daughter of Indrani Mukherjea, earlier believed to be her sister, was allegedly in a relationship for seven years with Rahul, son of Indrani's current husband and former Star TV CEO Peter Mukherjea.

Rahul is Peter's son from his earlier marriage, thus Sheena was his step sister.

Indrani was reportedly opposed to the relationship between Sheena and Rahul, also confirmed by Peter Mukerjea, according to some media reports.

Sheena and her brother Mekhail Bora were brought up by their maternal grandparents in Guwahati. In 2006, Sheena went to Mumbai to study in St Xavier's college. After passing out she got a job.

According to reports, Indrani killed Sheena in 2012. Sheena was 24-years-old at that time.

Sheena, according to her LinkedIn profile, was employed with Reliance ADAG when she disappeared in 2012.

43-year-old Indrani was arrested yesterday from her Mumbai residence after her driver confessed that he had killed Sheena in 2012 following his employer's orders.
