Latino sensation Shakira who rocked the world with her Waka Waka at the FIFA World Cup concert is going to record a cabaret song for aamchi Bollywood to a bump-and-grind sequence to be mounted by South African model Candice Boucher.
The music director duo Salim-Sulaiman are composing the track for her in an upcoming film featuring entrepreneur Sachin Joshi, the sponsor for IPL Kolkata Knight Riders.
‘It's too early to talk about the film', says Salim, ‘but we are going to start recording the track sometime next month if all goes as planned. Sulaiman and I have already got the sample track ready and we know the basic melody structure we will be using for the song. It is cabaret style and we will be using a lot of her Latin influences.'
Lyrics for the dance track will be mostly in English with a little Hindi thrown in.
