Seven Union Ministers taste humiliating defeat in UP

Akbar Ahmed Dumpy of BSP took the third spot. Beni got 102254 votes.

In Kanpur, Coal Minister Sriprakash Jaiswal was defeated by BJP's Murli Manohar Joshi by 2,22,946 votes. Jaiswal was the runner-up.

In Dhauraha, Jitin Prasad took the fourth place polling 1,70,994 votes on the seat where BJP's Rekha has trounced BSP's Dawood Ahmed.

In Jhnasi, Pradeep Jain Aditya polled 84,089 votes. BJP's Uma Bharti has won the seat defeating SP' Chandrapal Singh Yadav by 1,90,467 votes with BSP'S Anuradha taking the third spot.

Similarly, Chairman of Scheduled Caste Commission PL Punia, who enjoys the status of Cabinet Minister, remained runner up behind BJP's Priyanka Yadav by a margin of 2,11,878 votes.
