Mumbai: Security at Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Tarapur, was tightened after a threatening phone call in which the caller said he would blow up the BARC housing colony.
All vehicles entering BARC housing colony are being checked by policemen drawn from nearby police stations.
A top-level meeting of BARC officials with an IG rank police official took place two days ago in Tarapur to beef up security.
Police officials are tightlipped about the incident.
