Sale of platform tickets suspended due to Diwali rush

New Delhi, Nov 12: Sale of platform tickets have been suspended from Sunday till November 23 due to the current Diwali rush of passengers. Eight special trains are being run between New Delhi to Patna

New Delhi, Nov 12: Sale of platform tickets have been suspended from Sunday till November 23 due to the current Diwali rush of passengers.




Eight special trains are being run between New Delhi to Patna and New Delhi to Howrah.

25 unreserved ticket counters have been opened at New Delhi railway station, Old Delhi station and Anand Vihar station to sell train tickets.

Northern Railway has requested passengers not to crowd the platforms by bringing their relatives with them for seeing them off.
