Guptakashi: State Bank of India officials on Sunday evening found the bank locker of Kedarnath buried inside the rubble during clearing operations.
SBI field officer Deepak Kothiyal told reporters that the bank locker was buried in the flash flood that swept the holy town of Kedarnath on June 16-17 night.
The locked of SBI Ghat branch was also found intact a few days earlier.
Rs 33 lakh 14,280 cash was found intact from the Kedarnath SBI locker. The cash has been handed over to SBI officials.
