Ambala, July 25 : Twenty-five tolas gold jewellery, Rs 3 lakh cash and 16,000 Euros were stolen from the house of an NRI Jagjit Singh in Sector 8 here on Sunday, police said.
Jagjit Singh who had come to visit Ambala from Italy for two weeks, had gone to meet his relative alongwith his family, when the daytime theft took place.
On return, he found the locks broken, and the wardrobe in which he had kept his gold jewellery and cash was ransacked.
Police are investigating the matter.
