New Delhi: All India Faizan-e-madina Council chief Moin Siddiqui announced a cash reward of Rs 1,00,786 for beheading Jamiat Ulema's Mufti Muhammad Ilyas for his remark that Lord Shiva was Muslims' first prophet.

Siddiqui said that Ilyas is a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) agent and that he is making such statements on direction of Hindu radicals.

He further warned Ilyas that he will have to face ire of the community if he continues to deliver such remarks.

“I advice him to adhere by the Islamic law and Quran while making any statement,” he said.

Ilyas is facing severe criticism from several quarters for his controversial remarks that Lord Shiva was Muslims' first prophet and the community were the followers of Sanatan Dharma.

“All religions are preaching the same message. We are Indians first and our message is of peace, harmony and brotherhood. The way people in China are called Chinese and in Japan are called Japanese, similarly we are called Hindustani. India is our birthplace and roots of our religion. Lord Shiva was Muslims' first prophet. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati are our creators and parents which is a reality,” he said.
